Just a little crush...

It's been awhile since I've had one but boy let me tell how great it is to have one again. I can't really go into much detail but I will say this. It's nice to think of someone else for a change. It's the pleasure you get just from hearing their voice, or the laugh you catch yourself having after remembering a funny thing that happened between the two of you. It's all the small stuff really. I'm not sure where this one is going but it's taken awhile to get it to the right place. Every experience will bring us closer, to what exactly I'm not sure, but I'm certainly going to enjoy it.

Tis' the season of joy and love.

The Dust Has Settled...

What a month October was. I forgot how exhausting moving can be! You'll have to forgive me though as it's been nearly four years since I had done it. My ultimate validation was when one of the movers I hired kept saying how organized I was. I wish the packing and unpacking part was as easy as the actual move was. 3 hours! That's it! I barely lifted a finger... I do love setting things up and finding places for everything to go; so for me I thought that once everything got here the rest would be a breeze. It's amazing how little progress you feel when you are surrounded by a room full of boxes. As the days went on and the boxes disappeared my angst faded away but it was all quite tiring nonetheless. I was off for most of the week but I made sure I was up at 8am everyday just to ensure I got things done. The "end" of it was when I was able to throw my house-warming party on October 24th and feel really happy and excited about how everything landed. Be sure to check out facebook for all the photos, I somehow managed to pack 20 people into this limited amount of space. Good times had by all - I assure you!

The Holiday season is fast approaching and that to me is always exciting! As each day goes by more and more holiday stuff begins to pop up here and there. I officially kicked off the season by playing Sarah McLachlan's holiday CD on November 1st. I was holding off till after Halloween to do so. The CD isn't all that Christmas-y really, it's more winter-y than anything else. I enjoy it and it makes a great soundtrack to the season. Take a listen to it if you're curious, the album is called "Wintersong".

I've turned on some blogger options on the page such as "followers" and I also allowed comments to be posted by anyone which is exciting because I like to know that people see this. Shout outs to Mom, Jan, Aaron and Pytor! Hopefully there's more people out there reading this. Maybe if I talk about k.d. lang again I'll get more comments like before. Ha ha!

Till next time!
